Visit to Texas Stadium

The twins football team made it to the playoffs this last year (2007-2008 season). They did really well, and at one point, actually got to play in Texas Stadium. Yes, the holy grail of football was achieved. They were SO happy. So, of course, in each picture I took, there is the bright blue star...


I would LOVE for you to pick the twins out of this picture. Look for a minute - can you do it? Let me help...no wait, look longer...Ok, now I'll help. Look at the one wearing a uniform...no, not that one, the one beside them...yep, that's one of the twins - kidding! I don't know which ones they are either!


Their program was called Asylum, so the band members are marching around and holding one poor little flag girl prisoner inside their lines...not very nice...


Here they are doing rotating boxes. It looked really cool, this really doesn't do it justice...


Now they're back in formation - the twins are somewhere in the front right of this picture...


Now, the crazy flag girl has escaped the asylum, and has gotten all the band kids. This program was SO COOL! Everyone was talking about it - as in all the other teams and all the other bands. It really was a great one to watch.

Anyway, marching season just started up again on Thursday, so I thought it was time to get these published.

Mama Mia!

Ok, I don't get to go to the movies much, but with Grandma Irene here, we went! Irene, myself, and the twins went to see Mama Mia the other day, and it was great! Yes, some adult type humor - it is rated PG-13...

However, it was so funny, and actually had us laughing out loud! Gonna have to buy that one when it comes out. Not so much a "Doug will watch it" movie, but that's ok - maybe when he's doing homework.... :)
